Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of David and is incorporated by reference into the Ergonomy Customer Agreement. It applies to everyone who uses the Service under your account.

#1. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Service to:

• do anything unlawful, or to create, store, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful;
• infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person;
• upload or transmit malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other customers' data, or any connected system;
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent its security or authentication, except under a security-testing arrangement agreed with us in writing;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service except to the extent permitted by law, or use it to build a competing product;
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through excessive automated requests; or
• use the Service to generate, at scale, content intended to deceive, defraud, or harass.

#2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the activity of your users, for the lawfulness of the data you connect to the Service, and for obtaining any consents required for that data. You must keep account credentials secure and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised use.

#3. Consequences of breach

We may investigate suspected breaches of this AUP and may suspend or terminate access to the Service, remove offending content, or take other action we consider appropriate and proportionate. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice before suspending access, but we may act immediately where there is a risk to the Service, to other customers, or to any person.

#4. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Each version is published at its own dated, versioned address and remains retrievable.
